The French Initiative for Sustainable Cocoa (IFCD) publishes its 2021/2022 activity report.
IFCD members gathered on World Cocoa Day shared the initiative ’s first activity report .
During this first year, the IFCD was able to structure itself and adopt a roadmap setting specific objectives to fight against deforestation linked to cocoa farming, improve the income of cocoa producers and put an end to child labor and to forced labor in the production regions.
A memorandum of understanding has been signed with the other national initiatives for sustainable cocoa (ISCO) in order to strengthen their cooperation and articulation, particularly in the dialogue with producing countries, which will be central to the work of the IFCD in the coming months.
